Painting, yoga instructing, running, (ran 8 marathons), puzzles, NCAA champion (rowing), crafts.

What inspires and motivates you?
Human connection. The opportunity to connect with others in a meaningful way and spread more authentic connections.
Can you share a personal accomplishment that you feel proud of and tell us why it means so much to you?
My biggest accomplishment is my community. I've dedicated a lot of time to the people and things that give me meaning. I now have this wonderful community of support and life-giving humans that make it all worthwhile.
Who is a woman that has inspired you, and why?
My best friend's mom. She loves authentically and is honest and curious. She's also one of the smartest women I know.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Life is a journey – be present for each stop along the way. Where you are now will get you to where you're going.

What inspires and motivates you?
Spending time with my nieces always makes me feel excited for the future and reminds me of how refreshing it is to play and reconnect with your inner child.
How do you balance the various roles you play in your personal and professional life?
It's a work-in progress, but I'm trying to approach it as a practice instead of a concrete goal or item to check off. I try to celebrate the little wins when they happen (i.e. meditated in the morning, did a yoga class, made plans with a friend, etc.) and try not to be too hard on myself when I didn't make time for those things or on days when I didn't feel that productive.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don't worry too much about achieving certain things, focus more on the learnings and people you encounter along the way.

What inspires and motivates you?
Working with great people always inspires and motivates me. The great people show me all different possibilities of life, and they make me believe that I have that possibility too.
Can you share a personal accomplishment that you feel proud of and tell us why it means so much to you?
I am going to graduate from my MBA in this coming May. In the past 3 years, I have been doing full-time job and part-time school. It is way more challenging than I expected, and I would never imagine how I could manage it 3 years ago. It makes me believe that I have more potential than I think and gives me courage to do anything I want to do.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell myself to do the things you want to do, trust the process, and just be patient.

How do you balance the various roles you play in your personal and professional life?
A full-time MBA student, a part-time marketing manager, and soon be a full-time Mama, I enjoy fulfilling my life in meaningful ways. Aim high and work on it.
Can you share a personal accomplishment that you feel proud of and tell us why it means so much to you?
From Shanghai to New York, leaving a promising job at a big company and back to school, I treasure spending time with my loved ones but I never stop pursuing my aspirations. I'm proud that I dared to leave my comfort zone and start over.

I love sports. I used to play varsity volleyball and badminton in high school.

What inspires and motivates you?
As an INTP, my mind is always buzzing with ideas and questions. Personal growth is a major driving force that pushes me to discover my full potential. I make a daily effort to learn something new, big or small. And that's 365 new pieces of info every year if you think about it.
Can you share a personal accomplishment that you feel proud of and tell us why it means so much to you?
Attending boarding school at a young age has been one of my most valuable experiences to date. It challenged me to navigate through different relationships and obstacles on my own, helping me establish a very clear sense of self-image early on. I made lifelong friendships that I cherish to this day, and it taught me the importance of independence & responsibility.
Who is a woman that has inspired you, and why?
My grandmother. Not only for her wisdom and kindness towards others but also for the way she loves and appreciates life. Despite being 75, she is always eager to learn new things, plan and go on new adventures with friends. Her zest for life is so inspiring and I hope to be like her when I am older.

Be patient with yourself and trust the process!

What are your hidden talents or hobbies?
I obtained the Level 8 certificate for the Hulusi (a traditional Chinese musical instrument), but I have never performed in public. Lol.

What inspires and motivates you?
Because I am someone who likes to make plans, I feel a great sense of achievement every time I check off each item on my list on my phone for the day. My love and respect for life inspires me to give my best effort. Knowing that I am making a difference in a positive way inspires me.
How do you balance the various roles you play in your personal and professional life?
Time management. I have a full plan of everyday and schedule every single minute of the day. When I'm working or playing with the kids, just focus on the moment.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Pursue the things that you love and that bring you joy. Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things, even if they seem unconventional or difficult. I'll always take good care of you.
